Jungla de Cristal primera parte

Ya que este viernes se estrena la quinta película de Jungla de Cristal esta semana voy a dedicarla entera a todas las de John McClane.

Soy una fan incondicional del policía neoyorquino que se ve envuelto siempre en situaciones de peligro que debe rescatar.

Hay que comenzar siempre por el principio. Año 1988 Jungla de cristal dirigida por John McTiernan productora 20th century fox y protagonizada por Bruce Willis. Fue nominada a 4 Oscar: Efectos de sonido, sonido, montaje y efectos visuales.

John McClane un policía de Nueva York viaja a Los Angeles en las vacaciones de Navidad para ver a su mujer e hijos. Al llegar al edificio Nakatomi donde Holly (su mujer) trabaja se encuentra acorralado por un grupo de terroristas que toman a todas las personas presentes en la fiesta como rehenes. A pesar de no estar de servicio esto no le impide escapar y comenzar la lucha para salvar la situación.

"Yippie Ki Yay, hijo de..." Esta frase mitica de la Jungla sigue teniendo tanto significado incluso después de mas de 20 años. Es increíble que parece que el tiempo no ha pasado por ellas ya que las podemos seguir viendo durante años y no nos cansamos de verlo, con su camiseta sin mangas blanca que siempre acaba de otro color, en acción.

Para mi esta película marcó una época para todos los amantes del cine de acción. Fue un antes y un después y tanto éxito tuvo que se han seguido haciendo películas hasta ahora con La Jungla: Un buen día para morir.

Espero que la quinta entrega sea igual o mejor que la primera, yo iré a verla el viernes si quedan entradas y si no a lo largo del fin de semana. Pero una cosa tengo claro es que durante la semana volveré a verlas todas y se que serán horas en las que nadie podrá sacarme del sofá ya que estaré embobada como cuando era pequeña.

We must always start at the beginning. 1988 Die Hard director John McTiernan and producer 20th Century Fox starring Bruce Willis. It was nominated for four Oscar: Sounds effects, sound, editing and visual effects. 

John McClane NYPD travels to Los Angeles in the Christmas holidays to see his wife and children. Upon arrival at the Nakatomi building where Holly (his wife) works is surrounded by a group of terrorists who take everyone present at the party hostage. While off duty this doesn´t keep him from escaping and begining the fight to save the situation.

"Yippie Ki Yay, mother ..." This mythical phrase of Die Hard still means a lot even after more than 20 years. It's amazing to think that the time hasn´t passed for them since we keep watching for years and not getting tired of seeing John, with his white sleeveless shirt always ending with another color, in action.

For me, this film marked a time for all lovers of action cinema. It was a before and after, and was so successful that it has continued to make films until now with A good day to die hard.

I hope the fifth one is equal to or better than the first, I'll go to watch it, if there are tickets on Friday and if not over the weekend. But one thing I have clear is that during the week I´m going to watch them all again and that there will be times when no one can get me off the couch and I'll be spellbound as when I was little.

ARGO-DER...

En este post voy a hablar un poco de actualidad es decir de una de las mejores peliculas que he visto en el cine en las ultimas semanas. Se trata de Argo una de las preferidas de los Oscars 2013. 

Dirigida y protagonizada por Ben Affleck. Es la historia real de un resecate llevado a cabo por la CIA junto con Canadá de 6 miembros fugitivos de la embajada americana en Irán, cuando fue tomada por los revolucionarios. Estos 6 consiguen refugio en la embajada Canadiense aunque saben que a pesar de haber destruido la mayoría de información dentro de la embajada no tardaran en darse cuenta de su ausencia y de que irán a por ellos. Ben Affleck representa a Tony Méndez un agente de la CIA que urde un plan increíble para sacar del país a estos estadounidenses. Un plan en el que nadie confía.

A mi personalmente me encanto ya que me mantuvo agarrada a la silla por los nervios llegando a imaginar la angustia de todos los que estuvieron allí viviéndolo. Me ha impresionado como han sabido todos expresar perfectamente las emociones que tuvieron lugar en aquel sitio lleno de caos y terror.

Esta película ha ganado muchos premios y entre ellos hay dos Globos de Oro a mejor director (Affleck) y mejor película dramática.

Espero que os guste y que tenga mucha suerte en los Oscars.

In this post I will talk a little about today one of the best movies I've seen in the cinema in the last few weeks. Argo is a favorite for the Oscars 2013. Directed by and starring Ben Affleck. It is the true story of a rescue accomplished by the CIA along with Canada, of six fugitive members of the American Embassy in Iran, when it was taken by revolutionaries. These 6 get refuge in the Canadian embassy. Even though they know they have destroyed most of the embassy information they imagine sooner or later they will realize their absence and then go for them. Ben Affleck represents Tony Mendez CIA agent who makes up a plan incredible to get these Americans out of the country. A plan that nobody trusts.

This film has won many awards and among them are two Golden Globes for best director (Affleck) and best drama.

I personally loved it and it kept me set to the chair by the nerves coming to imagine the anguish of all who were there living it. I was impressed as they have known all perfectly express the emotions that took place at that site full of chaos and terror.

Hope you like it and has much luck at the Oscars.

De la primera película de la que quiero hablar es de "Tu y yo" (An affair to remember) del director Leo McCarey y protagonizada por Cary Grant y Deborah Kerr. 

El director decidió hacer un "remake" de su ya éxito en los años 30 de la misma película en blanco y negro. Trata de un famoso playboy estadounidense a punto de casarse con una mujer de la alta sociedad norteamericana y una cantante de club nocturno que se conocen a bordo de un transatlántico camino a EEUU. Ambos tienen relaciones con otras personas por lo que comienzan una amistad en la que la  conversación fluye, las bromas, y confidencias. Pero en poco tiempo se puede ver en sus miradas lo que de verdad sienten el uno por el otro. Los dos escogen al Empire State para que sea testigo de su reencuentro. 

Cary Grant le da su toque cómico que para mi lo caracteriza tanto. Haciéndolo uno de mis actores preferidos y de los que no me canso de ver actuar.

Esta película se ha ido convirtiendo en una de mis favoritas a la que recurro cuando quiero pasar una tarde lluviosa en el sofá tomando palomitas.

Espero que cuando la veáis disfrutéis tanto como lo hago yo cada vez.

The first movie I want to talk about is "An Affair to Remember" of the director Leo McCarey and starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.

The director decided to do a "remake" of his already successful in the 30s in the same black and white film. A famous American playboy about to marry a woman of American socialite and a nightclub singer meet aboard a transatlantic journey to America. Both have relationships with other people so they begin a friendship in which the conversation flowing, the jokes, and confidences. But before long you can see in their eyes what they really feel about each other. The two chose the Empire State to witness their reunion.

Cary Grant gives his comic touch that characterizes him for me so much. Being one of my favorite actors and I never tire of seeing him act.

This film has increasingly become one of my favorites that I turn to when I want to spend a rainy afternoon on the sofa with popcorn.

I hope you enjoy it as much when you see it like I do every time.

Como ya sabéis mi nombre es Eugenia pero no todos me llamaban así. Piccadilly es como lo solía hacer mi abuelo Beltran, autor de este dibujo. En el que supo reflejar una de mis grandes aficiones y razón por la que me he decidido a compartir con vosotros este blog, para poder hablar de todo lo relacionado con cine y series.
